hey nick it's two different areas, the festival would be on the LH side of the road as you head up to Buller, this is the big park with no camping signs all over it, plus it has the only toilet block in the area on that side of the road.

The campsite is on the RH side of the road in a valley, I doubt it will be used at all. But if in doubt you can check with BRM.

PS.
There is also a small amount of camp sites on the other side of the delatite right next to the river, to get there you drive over the mt stirling rd bridge and then hook sharp right in to a carpark and continue down to the river;) probably room for 15-20 id say.

yeah I went for a walk along that track, after the creek it hits a small bog/marsh (lots of deer tracks) then hooks right up the valley for a bit, there was a tree down that blocked the whole track. After that the tract hooks left towards buller again but gets overgrown quick, would be good to look at the map and see where it goes;)

the track doesn't go anywhere. it's about 1.5km long and follows the stream up the gully.

Hey, I'd prefer to car pool than drive up by myself. So, I have a car on free company petrol and 2 or 3 free spaces and a bike rack if people want a lift. I'm going up friday arvo and coming back Monday. I'll be heading from mordialloc up the eastern and through lilydale, etc. I should warn you that I may pull out as I'm not sure how well my ribs will heal after a smash I had, but the opportunity is there.

Hi Jason,

Even if the ribs are sore turn up it is a great spot for a weekend and plenty of people around to drink beers and just relax.
