Filmed in Melbourne by one of the local trials riders. They do make it look very easy don't they. The guy in question is actually a World Class rider, as in competing at World championships and finishing top ten i believe.
If you would like to see this sort of stuff happening live and actually ride with these guys I will post up the dates for the Vic trials series. Come along and watch or enter the novice category. All you need is $15,MTBA license and a bike of some description.
It is a really relaxed affair with groups moving round the different sections together. Groups normally consist of one of each category.ie 1 Pro, 1 elite and so on down to the ones like me who can barely turn a pedal. You will get tips/advise/encouragment and the chance to see insane bike skills which are mind blowing and not done justice on the small screen.

Looking a the Calendar i think the best one to go to would be the 21st July. This is in Oakley in Melbourne and whilst not the usual scenic location is nice and close.
I will be there riding in the "silly old man" catergory.
If you do fancy coming for a watch bring a bike and a helmet as once there you will want to have a go. If you can get up the beginning of Follow me then you will not embarrass yourself in novice cat. Any bike will do. 26/29/BMX/sus forks/full sus. Wont matter at all.

Hah, I fell over last time I tried to get up the first part of Follow Me.

I like the idea though, I'll check the calendar, it would be great to come and have a watch (possibly a go but may wait for next time for that!).
