My Lysterfield Vid Collection.
« on: September 16, 2011, 07:19:48 PM »
All though I currently can't ride because of shoulder surgery.... I thought I would share some vids I have made from Lysterfield.

Heres a mix of trails: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z180BDFBwxM
Buckle trail: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJ66CdeJPG4
Pump track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzZAo-9EZ24

Still need to get much better "flow" and style on the pump track!

Thanks mate.

I can't wait till I can hop back on my bike again, I'm sure Lysterfield will be awesome by the time I'm back.

Glad you liked them.

Shoulder is healing good but I can't ride till January.... Just long hard rides on the road bike for now. I can't believe all this awesome trail building is happening right when I can't be a part of it.. O well, I'm sure Lysterfield will be awesome by the time I'm back.

Yeah, just think how good the trails will be by the time you come good, and the new trail, "Namby Pamby", or whatever the * they're going to call, it should be open too!

So Against any healthy judgement and my Doctors orders I went out and rode follow me.

I had a blast! Also stacked it pretty hard into a tree (Now there is a cut on my neck and face lol) I won't be riding Follow me again for a while cause it just isn't worth the risk (I'm recovering from Shoulder surgery)

Any ways here is a video I put together showing my Crashes (Yes I crashed twice lol) and a full second run crash free  :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cd8iNsIf9YY

Youtube quality isn't great because it was only just uploaded so watch it in 720p, Tomorrow it will look much crisper.

Great stuff, glad everyone enjoys it~ I was a little down after riding it on Sunday, and having some guys ripping shit out of it at the bottom :(

I will attempt to get rid of the tree either this week or Saturday :)

i was by myself and it was too akward for me to move alone, i should be back ay lysty with a few others during the week, if its still blocking ( and were allowed too??) we might just place it off to the side of the track.

That's not fair of folk to rip into it, it's a great track, massive thanks and a huge pat on the back to you and the guys that managed to talk Parks into allowing a brand new track in the first palce, and big props for putting the time and effort in to build it.

I know everynoe I have spoken to really enjoys it, and judging by the strava results, there's certainly more than a few people riding it!

Well done guys!

Do you mean damaging the track or criticising the track? If they were criticising the track, what didn't they like about it? Do they want a sealed bike path or something? For me personally, it is by far the best track at Lysterfield. I cannot wait until the build starts on the leftward downhill extension. I will try to help out when required.

Let's not worry about nuff nuff,s. they are more than welcome to come out and build something better. Those who complain are usually the ones who have nfi

We love ya Andy ( that's not in a strange way mate).  ;D
