Another thanks to the ldtr organisers. Great fun event, I love seeing the kids mixing it with the big boys. There's such a need for this type of mtb access for youngsters in the eastern suburbs.
Perfect way also (for me) to try racing and gauge your performance before trying out state rounds etc.

Round 2 is on Friday 27 March

LIGHTS NEEDED. LIGHTS NEEDED. LIGHTS NEEDED.

Do i need lights? YES.

There may be a few loan lights available on the night, but I cant guarantee that. Best pop into Bikes Direct in Springvale and get Ben to hook you up with some sweet illumination. Remember, LDTR club members get 20% off at DB.

Volunteers needed!!!

If you volunteer for a non racing job for any 1 round, you get FREE entry into the other 2 rounds. (a race license is still required though).

Volunteer jobs for each round:

Non racing jobs:
Course marshall - 6pm to 8pm (Marshall at key junctions) 3 vols needed
Timing - 5:30pm to 8:30pm
Rego - 5:30pm to 7pm

Volunteering but can still race:
Course set up - 4pm to 6pm (Can be done on your bike. Putting signs and tape up at key junctions). 3 vols needed.
Sweep - 7:45pm to 8:15pm (look for stranded riders, pull down the signs and tape) 2 vols needed.
Car park entry - 5pm to 6pm (until the Scouts take over)

Please let me know what you are keen to do, and in which round can help.

Cheers,

Tim

Just realised I let work have me until 6pm :( . Is it possible to come at 7 and still have a ride or is that too late?
I also will be doing a uni assignment on this event so I won't be racing as much as I wish I could.
