Aneurysm chase
« on: April 22, 2016, 10:59:48 AM »
burkebrotherscycling.blogspot.com.au

Just put an Aneurysm chase video up on me and Chris's blog (just starting out btw).
Going to try a chest mount next time. Also have a backward facing chase down follow me to come but I have to flip the footage (forgot upside down mode).
Let me know if you love/hate it  :D

Nice work riding the bottom rollers as doubles.

Loved the stoppie at the end.

Nice work. Is that a bar mount? I've found that helmet mount is best for chasing. Chesty is good, but not for chasing.
Keep Rollin' Rollin' Rollin.

Nice work Nick.

I'm the same with the bar mount, you see every twitch with the bars, can send you nuts when viewing on a big screen.

I have a couple of vids that I have shot, but haven't uploaded them anywhere yet, gotta get around to it.

Cam.

Yeah bar mounted...
even the rear mount on the seat is pretty shaky :)
Seems like mounting it to your body is the only way to get semi-steady footage.
If you guys are responsible for the work on the bottom berms... far out!!! You don'e even have to touch the brakes anymore. Those things are ridiculous!

Interesting enough, I've found the helmet mount to be much steadier than the Chesty. You'd think it would be the other way round.

That bottom section is awesome.
Keep Rollin' Rollin' Rollin.

Nice! Soon you'll be wanting a gimbal or a drone.

If you think about it it makes sense that a helmet mount will give you steadier footage. You are after all using nature's gimball for your eyballs.
