How the trail above Trailmix now looks
« on: May 02, 2010, 08:44:36 PM »
I popped down this afternoon to view the new look trail above Trailmix. Here are some of the spots, including the new berm that has been built.

You poor thing Lynda. I know how you must be feeling. I've had the flu - before Easter, and am still coughing. Not good.  Glad you like the berm (I must take note of the spelling) - a kid was just trying it out while we were there.

We out on Saturday arvo for a casual ride and rode the new section both ways.

Have to say it flows so much better than before. You can rail the rock wall with ease and the section is not completed yet.

Also a nice touch in replacing the one-way log rollover with the built up rocks.

Cool, thanks Lynda. I'll be posting some more soon - just have to make them a suitable size to load here as they're large files.

That looks great - good work everyone. Sorry I had to bail out at 12, it was bit gutting to miss the barby afterwards. I reckon thats got to be one of the best starts to trailworks I've seen. If we can continue like this then Lysterfield is going to be transformed :)

BTW someone said about signing a PV form for the day, if you need any contact details for that then PM me as we never found it before I left.

Hi Alistar,

I found the list after you left and put your name on top of the list. We had 23 people turn up. Great turn up and I will shortly post further build dates.

Cheers

Olly

23.  That's good - so good to hear.  I expect not all of them are members here yet, are they? Would be good to encourage them to join in the chats here to keep informed of stuff.
