Comm games coverage from 2006
« on: June 25, 2017, 10:38:18 AM »
I've been watching the crap out of all my mtb videos trying to get my fix while I'm off the bike, and I've found these guys in the collection and figured they were worth sharing.

Mens race

Women's race

Nice to see the pros struggling with the switchback climb ;-)

I liked the random logs across the track. Could we have those back please?

Wow, the commentators are all over this MTB gig. Referring to someone sitting 2nd wheel as "Not sharing the work on the front", or the lead into the switchback climb as "on a faster part of the course........a false flat", or "at Churchill Park in Lysterfield".

Maybe there were no x MTB riders around in those days? BTW, Chris is a bit slicker on the skills these days - as are all of the elite riders.

Still, great to watch, thanks for sharing them.

Awesome. I got in to mtb about this time and first came to lysty after seeing it in the comm games. Nostalgia of jumping on the train to Tecoma as a teen and riding the trails as they were back then. Thanks for sharing!
