It’s a mountain bike trail. Most of us suspension on our bikes.

Rough trails are good for the soul.

We’re not all as skilful as you though Tim. There is a bit of hole on the transition between 2 of the early berms that could use some love - sooner rather than later.  OK once you know it there - not so good if it catches you by surprise.

Maybe it’s just my big 29er wheels Craig. Just rolls over everything like it’s not even there.

1st time I found the hole I mentioned was on my HT 29r with 2.1 shoes on it. Can't say the big wheels really helped in that instance, though I did stay on - I guess if I had big wheels, fat tires and full squish I wouldn't have even noticed the hole?

You mean you like jumps with a flat landing, or, you like jumps because you get a flat tire when you hit them??

Hey all,

We managed a bit of dicey ‘stuff’ with the VES drainage work last weekend. Give it a crack now, but remember - it’s not supposed to be a trail that doesn’t challenge the intermediate rider. The rough stuff is part of the attraction.
