So the plan, whilst not 100% is at this stage, to finish the IMBA trail, from the intersection to buckle. and if there is enough people get a start on the new part of Bermacide (the continuation of Follow me).

WooHooo!!! The more people attend, the more we can get done :)

Hey Andrew,

Any chance of cleaning up Lower Blair Witch this Saturday?

Its a pretty fun little track, just needs to be cleaned up a bit.
Keep Rollin' Rollin' Rollin.

Speaking of world trail, can they fix their thing here?:

That section of track is now quite dangerous, way worse that it was before they touched it.  It's very deep soft gravel and if you get even slightly off line you'll washout and be on your face in the dirt.

I think world trail have proved that if an area does not work, for what ever reason they will be back and attempt to repair the area. Time will tell  :P

I rode it on Sat, and it was GREAT, has it not faired well with the rain?

There is a rumour that corrections are gunna finish the rock work in redgum  ;D

Ha Ha.. Yep.. I washed out at this very spot a couple of weeks ago :( Lucky I landed on my bottom.. lots of padding there :)

Am really looking forward to finishing off the new "buckle" trail and the extension of Follow me. Hope we get a good turn out!

Are we talking about the same section here? Tuesday night, I rode it at a fairly slow pace, (after being warned it was sketchy), I was close to coming off about 4 times, and on one occasion had a very scary moment indeed! So much so, that I really don't fancy riding that section again until it's somehow bed in.

As Lard said, the gravel is so deep in places that once you hit it it's really difficult to stay upright. Seeing it's potentially such a fast section, I'd be expecting some carnage on there over the next few weeks.

DISCLAIMER:- Yes, this may seem like another Numbnuts moan about the trails, it's not intended to offend anyone, and not knowing how trails are built it's possible (probable?) that it's intended this way in order to pack down and bed in, but the way I felt it rode on Tuesday would lead me to suggest newbies & lower skilled riders stay away from it for a while.
