Easter Trail Building
« on: March 23, 2011, 08:27:14 PM »
All,

As mentioned on the last build day LDTR will be holding a Easter Trail Build. This will be held over 2 days Good Friday & Easter Saturday 22nd & 23rd of April.

We will be continuing with the work we have started on Buckle and then move onto Middle Trail. We will have the same machinery on site but hopefully will add a mini digger to the day.

We would love to see as many members and volunteers turn up over the weekend. We know that many people will be away on holidays but if you have even 1 day to spare would be awesome to see you there.

Lunch will be provided on both days so if you can make it please advise so we can cater for you.

Cheers Olly

Someone on R'burn suggested we get info about the build days around to LBSs. Should we make up a quick poster to stick up at a few?

Hey guys,
Since the last post is from March, is this still happening? Are the dates & start times correct? Where is the meeting point? I would like to participate if i can even if i can't put in a full day.

We will be at Trailmix Cafe at 8am & 10am.

Just confirmed Mini Digger will be available for use on both days. Should keep them many hours of digging down to a minimum.

See you all on Friday or Saturday.

All,

Just been out aligning some new trails, we will need at least 3-4 bikes on both days so if as many bodies can bring a bike along this will help to make sure the new trails flow. Would hate to do all this work only to find out that we have made the same mistakes as before.

Even spotted a great skinny that we can build into the trail  :o

Whoops! Left the trail building today without my jacket.  :( I left it on the wheelbarrow. If someone picked it up please let me know and i'll organise a time to get it. :) thanks

Couldn't make this weekend as just got back from holidays but hoping to get a ride in tomorrow at Lysty.

What's the latest on which tracks are now open?

Cheers.

We left the jacket in the wheel barrow and it is locked in the PV depot "where the trail building tools are". Just go to the depot and pick it up. Call the depot first to make sure they are there.
