Good work Nick, it reads well. As a suggestion, perhaps you could invite PV to respond in the next newsletter. It was good to hear from them officially in the last one, I don't recall the guy's name but he came across as pretty supportive.

Awesome :)   The bit re the bike park and single gate entry reminds me very much of Stromlo.

Great work on this strategy, it reads well and is very thorough. It really highlights the full potential of the park.
Well done.  :)

Had a good read of the strategy over the past couple of days, reads really well, very concise.

Agree with Alistairs comment about PV responding.

Great work to all involved.

Was a good read..!

More only comment..
When you are discusssing about the "Loops" and the various trails, by name..
Do you think the document could benefit by including a diagram or map(s) of the rails that are being discussed..??

I'm guessing that this document will be read by many people who nothing about Lysterfield..
The location map is a good inclusion, so why not show a map of the trails as well..
It may offer some furhter information to those who read the document as to the task to be undertaken..

agreed, make what we are after allot clearer, but...

...this is a draft.

We have a map of the tracks we would ideally like to have, but this needs alot of issue's to be worked through. (ecology ect ect)

It is on the cards, but we wanted to get something out there.

Retroenduro....Agree with your comments..
Andrew....Also agree with your comments..

Section 2 deals with existing arrrangements..
Section 3 deals with future arrangements..

But both sect 2 and 3 discuss trails that already exist, so a map of existing trails would be helpful to anyone reading your document..

Any new trials should, as you suggest, not be put out to the public forum, until fully considered..and meet all necessary requirements..Only then should they be published for display or comment..
Your primary focus appears to be to fix the existing arrangement, then proceed to future plans, so why confuse the general masses with trails that have not been finalised yet..

As you say, it's a 'draft' so there is plenty of options to fine tune it anyway..

I guess this will be a document that will be presented to plenty of varied groups... and will probably be a basis on which to approach groups for support and finance..therefore goals need to be achievable and measurable..
If you set a small goal, and achieve it, then it gives you a basis on whihc to approach other parties for further assistance..

So if you can achieve the goals as set down in sect 2, then publicise your achievements and you'll be on the way to completing the goals in sect 3..

**
Sect 2.7

"....only generally usually used..."

Couldn't find that statement in my grammar checker..:)

**
Sect 4

Who would impose a levy on any race organisers..
Would this imposed by PV..

**
Sect 1.2

This section indicates about the 'advocacy group'...

Do you think you may need to mention about the relationship between PV and LDTR..
This would show a strong, ongoing relationship, so investors can see a long term investment potential, and club that is around for a long time..

Do agree seperating repair of old and creating new. We can start making changes at the next meeting and also create an actual plan on what is to be done next in regards to trail building
